Eligibility

Eligibility

· Contestant must be a U.S. citizen.

· Contestant must live within the 60031 zip code and must live in Gurnee. You may be asked to show proof.

· Winners may not hold any other pageant title. If you do, you must forfeit your other title if you are crowned a Gurnee Queen.

· The newly crowned Queens and runner-ups must always exhibit appropriate behavior while wearing their crown and in everyday life.

· Contestants must compete in all categories.

· All newly crowned Gurnee Queens must compete in the Lake County Community Pageant in November.

· Newly crowned Gurnee Queens may not compete in any other pageant other than the Lake County Community Pageant.

· All Queen and runner-up appearances must be approved by the Lake County Community Pageant Committee or the Gurnee Pageant Director

· You must never have won a title at the age level you are competing in from another town in Lake County.

· You cannot compete in the Lake County Community Pageant more than once per age level.

· All newly crowned Queens and runner-ups must inform the Pageant Director of their MySpace and Facebook accounts.

· As a newly crowned Gurnee Queen or runner-up, all pictures posted on the internet must be done in a tasteful manor.

· All contestants may never have been arrested or convicted of a felony offense.

· You must agree to have your photo used in newspapers and other publications approved by the Gurnee Pageant Director.

· All contestants must never have been married.

· All contestants must never have been pregnant.

· All crowned Queens must not become pregnant during the time they hold their title.

· If you are crowned queen or awarded runner up you will be required to sign a contract.

· All runner ups will be required to attend at least 6 Gurnee Mills events throughout the year.
